Support
Nutrician is made by PIQ Labs LLC, an Ohio limited liability company.
Email contact@piqlabs.com and a person will read it. Tell us what you were doing and what happened. If the app behaved strangely, the date and rough time help us find it in the logs.
Apple Health
Open You, scroll to Apple Health, and tap Connect Apple Health. iOS will ask which data you want to share. Nutrician writes calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat, and reads your weight.
- Nothing happens when you tap Connect, or the app closes. Update to the latest version from the App Store. Version 1.2 had a bug that closed the app instead of showing the permission sheet. It is fixed in 1.2.1.
- No Apple Health section at all. That section only appears inside the iOS app from the App Store, not in a web browser and not on Android.
- Meals are not appearing in Health. They arrive about an hour after you log them. That delay is deliberate: if you correct a meal or say you only ate half, the correction lands first, so Health shows the final figure instead of one that changes later. Check Health, then Sharing, then Apps, then Nutrician, and confirm the four nutrition categories are switched on.
- Weight is not reading in. Apple deliberately hides from apps whether read access was granted, so we cannot tell the difference between "you said no" and "there is nothing there". Check the same screen and make sure Weight is on.
- Turning it off. Sync stops, and whatever is already in Apple Health stays there. It is your data. Remove it under Health, Sharing, Apps, Nutrician.
Your numbers look wrong
Tap any meal card to see where each figure came from: a label you scanned, a match in a nutrition database, a restaurant's published data, a correction you made, or our own estimate. An estimate is labelled as one and shows a range.
If a number is wrong, tell the coach in plain words. "That was half a portion" rescales it. "The protein was 32 grams" corrects it and marks the meal as corrected, while leaving the figures you did not restate marked as our estimate.
Portion size is the hardest part of food tracking and no app has solved it. If the photo guessed a portion badly, say so, or photograph the plate afterward and Nutrician will work out how much was left.
Your account and your data
- Export everything. You, then download my data. Precision subscribers can also export the food diary as CSV.
- Delete your account. You, then delete account. This removes your data from our systems. It does not remove what has already been written to Apple Health; that is yours to remove in Health.
- See what the coach remembers. You, then what I remember. Anything there can be deleted.
Subscriptions and billing
Precision is $9.99 per month or $99 per year, after a seven-day trial. There is a free tier you can stay on indefinitely.
If you subscribed on iPhone, Apple handles the billing: manage or cancel it in the iOS Settings app under your name, then Subscriptions. We cannot cancel or refund an Apple subscription for you, and Apple's refund process is at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you subscribed on the web, manage it under You, then Plan.
What Nutrician is not
Nutrician is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. It does not give medical advice. Protein targets, medication questions, dosing and symptoms belong with your prescriber. If you have severe abdominal pain, cannot keep fluids down, or are vomiting persistently, contact a clinician rather than logging around it.
